IT Services

Peace Library System offers a number of technology-based services to help member libraries offer enhanced services to patrons. As a member of TRAC (The Regional Automation Consortium), PLS provides access to the Polaris integrated library system for member libraries.

1. Polaris Support
PLS provide troubleshooting and support for Polaris, the integrated library system software. Please visit the Polaris section of the Training Toolkit for resources. For after-hours emergency Polaris support, please click here.

2. The Help Desk
PLS IT Services operates the Help Desk, where you can request support for technical issues, ranging from computer training to issues with Polaris. You can also visit the Technology Training section of the Training Toolkit for resources on common computer software such as Microsoft Office.

3. Website Development
PLS offers support on website management and development for member libraries. Please visit the website management page in the Training Toolkit for resources.

4. eResources
PLS provides member libraries and their patrons with access to a number of electronic databases and resources, known as eResources. A full list of eResources can be found in the main menu, along with helpful resources for both staff and patrons on using the various eResources.

5. Purchasing Technology for Your Library
PLS assists with ordering technology for your library. You can visit the Purchasing page under IT Services for more information. 

6. Dell Employee Purchase Program
Access to the Dell Employee Purchase Program is available to staff in our member public libraries and at HQ. View the Dell page for more information.
