International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia - May 17
The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) is celebrated every year on 17 May. It is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing discrimination, violence, and marginalization faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex people, and all of those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics. The campaign seeks to celebrate diversity and advocate for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. For more information visit: may17.org

Based on this year's theme, “Together always: unity in diversity,” Chilean artist Sofía Miranda Van den Bosch created six illustrations that incorporated feedback from LGBTQIA+ organisations and activists from across the world who have joined the IDAHOBIT working group. We hope these illustrations will resonate with our communities and allies as much as possible.
