Relais

Relais is an interlibrary loan system allowing users to search for and then place holds on materials not available through the TRAC shared catalogue, including content from public and academic libraries. Public library staff then use the system to fill requests from libraries across the province.

If you have any questions about Relais, please contact ill@peacelibrarysystem.ab.ca.

A video tutorial on how to use Relais is available on Niche Academy.

*Please note that requests are subject to the standards and procedures of external organizations. Holds may take longer to fill and may not be renewable. Peace Library System will often cover any costs for interlibrary loans outside of the TRAC system, however sometimes these costs may need to be covered by your Library or Patron.

Please use our How To Help a Patron Place a Request flowchart to determine when to place a Relais request.
